this thread hasn't happened yet and so what are peoples opinions on what are the greatest thrash metal albums of all time?

Top 5:
1. Rust In Peace - Megadeth (Hands Down greatest thing ive ever put in my ears)
2. Spectrum Of Death - Morbid Saint (I am still amazed as to why these guys are so unknown, Tough choice really, just edged out Artillery)
3. By Inheritance - Artillery (This truely is a masterpiece)
4. Bonded By Blood - Exodus (This album is really something special it really did pave the way for thrash, no matter what anyone has to say)
5. Think This - Toxik (Mind blowing vocals mixed with, pure technicality)

Heres my top 5 for now, list is subject to change, and keep in mind this is my own personal opinion, and i am wrting this at approx 5:08am so im tired as fuck :headbang:

im not really talking influencial, if thats what u mean? but as i said that was my top 5 and its hard to fit every thrash masterpiece in such a small list, plus Think This shits all over Ride The Lightning, although it is easily metallicas finest hour

I dislike your #1 pick a lot. Peace Sells is better IMO but most will disagree. I love your #3 through #5 picks however. I have no idea what my list would be, lots of great stuff to choose from.

1. Sepultura - Beneath The Remains (My all-time fav, Sepultura were unstoppable at their prime)
2. Exodus - Bonded By Blood (One of the best thrash albums ever realeased)
3. Suicidal Tendencies - Lights... Camera... Revolution! (The peak of their career imo)
4. Anthrax - Among The Living (This album has so many classic tracks it deserves more appreciation than it generally receives)
5. Death Angel - The Ultra-Violence (Definition of awesome. In a way very diverse and somewhat technical, atleast at the time it was released)
6. Kreator - Terrible Certainty (My fav Kreator album to date, somehow I like it more than even Pleasure To Kill)
7. Forbidden - Forbidden Evil (Awesome progressive/technical thrash album and very underrated band)
8. Slayer - Reign In Blood (Just a fucking classic album. It deserves to be mentioned on this list tho it's not my all-time favourite thrash album)
9. Heathen - Victims Of Deception (Very diverse and interesting compositions, and great guitar work)
10. Metallica - ...And Justice For All (Back then they were still great. The first four Metallica albums are all solid efforts)

That's my top 10. I could have listed a hundred albums, but let's just keep it simple this time.
