Transferring music files to another computer

I have this old ass computer and it has a ton of songs on there, but I want to get a new computer and I'm wondering if some of you guys know a good way to transfer my music files onto the new computer. Thanks in advance.

Take out the old hd and put it in the new pc.

Either over a network, which is slower but less fiddly, or slap the hard drive as a slave in your newer PC.

Swapping HDDs round is a piece of cake, though if you're worried about mangling about with the insides of your computer, a tech savvy mate or a professional should be able to do it for ya in minutes.
