trigger finger in Cubase

Ok, I tried Cubase, I suck... But, I've read nothing but horror stories about Drumagog in Sonar. I'm not really happy with DFHS anymore. I cannot afford Directxer, or whatever. Is there an easier (read: free) way to get to use drum samples in Sonar?

When using Drumagog as a Midi signal sender in Cubase you need to create a separate MIDI track to which each trigger is routed. These can then all be routed to DFHS. Never heard of this Trigger Finger you speak of though.

I posted allthose threads about Drumagog in Sonar. It still doesn't work for me (v6 Producer), but I downloaded the v7 trial and it works fine in that. May just be my version or something. I'm upgrading this Christmas.
