Ken, this is not exactly what you're looking for but give it a try. bmd was talking them up years ago, but i never pursued it (stupidly).

The band name is Controlled Bleeding, they've been around a long time. Over the course of their massive discography you have some, noise, industrial gothic, ambient, electronic dub. I mostly like their ambient, goth, electronic dub stuff, with the latter being my favorite. Very laid back and lush with lots of bass and what not (it must sound really awesome on great speakers, i wouldn't know though). The electronics are mixed live instruments. Sometimes they get outside vocalists on some of their songs. For other stuff, one of the members sings in a operatic voice that is pretty awesome. Truth be told this band has had me enthralled over the past 6 months or so. I should really review some individual albums. some mp3s: :Shedevil:
