Yea but the problem is "Metalcore" now is like "Hair Metal" in the 80's....A few bands started the movement including Trivium and now you have probably 50 bands that either mix metalcore/NWOAHM and metalcore with NWOSDM..it would be better if Trivum stayed in the old-school thrash/speed metal genre

This is completely true. If it wasn't for internet metalheads absolutely shitting on my taste in music some three years ago, I would never listen to what I listen to today. So appreciate it when people who know what they're talking about tell you a band is gay, because they probably are.

I listen to everything I listened to when I came here, but I also listen to stuff that's 35-40% more awesome.

Sounds really dumb. I don't mind his hetfield ripoff, but the problem is the music and vocal lines sound a little awkward. This is more tolerable than Ascendancy, however. This is just mediocre, rather than awful.

Why is it people make bands like this? I'm not doubting that they are skilled and proficient at their instruments, its obvious they are good. They just make some gay-ass music. Misery Signals is the same way, my friend likes them, they sound like if they applied themselves to a different genre (like Death Metal) they could be relatively badass.
