Trying to get a certain kick sound

I've fallen in love with the kick sound in the new Architects album, "Hollow Crown". I've tried my best to EQ existing kick samples etc to get the same feel, but I just can't figure it out! I've uploaded a clip of the kick as clean as it's offered on the cd for you guys to help me figure it out

To many variables haha, you will never get exact the same kick sound i guess

Email the dude who recorded them and ask, and if its a sample you can probably get pretty close but then the mix will make or break it/make it work or not

Almost sounds like they have a trance/techno kick sampled in there.. has that round feeling of it.

I got a copy of Nightmares a few years ago by Architects for free and never listened to it... I just checked their Myspace and this band is AWESOME, what the fuck is wrong wth me? Thanks for making this thread, pumped about having some new tunes to crank!
