They mean that the tour the shirt was made for happened at 2003. Daa.

Actually, they were converted on tour with Extol.

With their recent tour with Extol over, Opeth guitarist Peter Lindgren has made a contraversial public statement about the band and their newfound faith.

Apparently Lindgren and bass player Martin Mendez were quite impressed by the Christian metallers Extol, and began to talk about the openly Christ-worshipping band's faith. One thing led to the next, and soon Mendez and Lindgren were ready to be 'born-again'. They were baptized in the Helsinki St. Stephan's church on the 21st of October.

The move has struck disharmony into the band, with frontman Mikael Akerfeldt commenting; "Normally I wouldn't mind, but them leaving Bible verses taped to the inside of the tour bus really gets on my nerves!"

Opeth release their first ever DVD - 'Lamentations - Live At Shepherd's Bush Empire' on 24th November 2003.
