Now, I'm not necessarily talking about a show coming back with brand new episodes. I'm talking about just airing reruns of the shows as well.

Two shows I want back:

The Critic - This was a cartoon starring Jon Lovitz as the voice of the main character. I used to watch this show at an age where I had no idea what the references were and whatnot, but always thought it was an interesting cartoon. I'm sure I would laugh my ass off at it now.

Upright Citizens Brigade - This was one from 1998-2000 and I knew about it then and thought it looked stupid (I was 14, what did I know?). I saw an episode of it a few years ago as a rerun and couldn't stop laughing. It's improv/sketch comedy and it's great.

There should be a cable network that puts on reruns of shows you request. That would be awesome.

With the advent of bittorrent I really don't care about reruns at all anymore since it is trivial to download entire seasons of most TV shows nowadays so mine are strictly about wanting new episodes.

Arrested Development
The X-Files (preferably while pretending that the movie and seasons 6-9 never existed, do over!)
American Gothic (it started off real cheeseball but started to become interesting halfway through the first season and then got cancelled at the end of it)
The Mighty Boosh (they are making new episodes right now though, so yay)
Deadwood
The Wire

The Jackie Thomas Show!

This was a sitcom in 1992/93 starring Tom Arnold as an eccentric and pretty much insane sitcom star. It was hilarious. Only lasted about a season or so.

I also wanted to see how Day Break (Tae Diggs' "groundhog day" type crime drama) might have played out, but it was cancelled within a few episodes.

Arrested Development

Fuck yes, great show.

The Mighty Boosh (they are making new episodes right now though, so yay)

:kickass:

FUCK YES. I watched all 3 seasons of this show in about 3-4 weeks with my girlfriend and was utterly mortified when I heard that it had been cancelled. There were rumours of a movie to finish it off but I'm not sure if that's still on the cards or what.

There are a fair few British comedies that I wish had continued longer than they did. The Young Ones, Fawlty Towers, Black Books, Big Train, Black Adder, The League of Gentlemen...

The US version of The Office is no where near as good but has like 4 seasons or some shit... the UK version shoulda done that, Ricky Gervais ftw. Also Chris Morris should leave The IT Crowd alone, as it sucks, and do another series of Jam, Brass Eye or The Day Today. Deadwood needs m0ar series too instead of some silly 2 part film shit to finish it up.

Thundercats was amazing when I was 12-13 or so. I don't know if I'd watch it now.
Mumrah(or however that's spelt) was the best cartoon baddie ever.

pre john stewart daily show

west wing
whose line is it anyways (that show could go on for ever)
