Thunderstone may be interesting although I would have like better Freedom Call which will perform in PPUK.

The bright side is that I'm going to check a lot of bands I didn't heard before, thay may open doors for me.

So far what we have?

Pyramaze
Wastefall
Savage Circus
Epica
Freak Kitchen
Thunderstone

The only one that I know nothing about is Thunderstone. I'm really looking forward to Pyramaze. I've played the heck out of Melancholy Beast. The new one sounds pretty good so far. This may be the best lineup I've seen yet.

So far, I'm not too excited about the line up. That being said, I'll be there regardless.:)

Well I would hope so. Looking forward to shooting the breeze again this year.

Absolutely. Going into last year's show, there were only two bands I was really wanting to see - Conception being the main one - but I had the best time yet, regardless.

Sorry about the Broncs, Wheez, next year...Bucs/Broncs superbowl.:D

Oh man, ever since I found Freak Kitchen would be there, I have all the details of my trip planned out...all I need to do is purchase things like tickets, plane tickets, and a bed to sleep in for a few nights. I am so there and I am so looking forward to seeing the people from multiple message boards.

To me is the opposite I do know SC, Thunderstone and Epica, but not the rest except by name some. As for owning the music only SC.

I have not had a bad time yet. I am always at least intrigued by half the lineup, if not more.

It's ok about the Broncs and right back at ya with the Bucs. I like you're thinking with the SB. :headbang:

Two more bands just announced - Mercenary & Vision Divine.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Vision Divine!! And I already decided not to go this year. There are several reasons for that but one of them was the extremely weak roster PP had for 2006 up till now.

For those who will be going, be sure to check Michele Luppi the amazing singer of Vision Divine!! As most of you know, their album 'Stream Of Consciousness' was my number one choice of best album of 2004.

Check that band out you will not be disappointed!

I am very happy for the band they will be playing PP this year!

Yeah you even passed me their newest album, still I didn't find it interesting enough. But again maybe checking them live will change my appreciation.

No idea wahtsoever about Mercenary.

NP: Redemption - Parker's Eyes

I saw them 3 or 4 times in the passed 3 years and they evolved from
a nearly Death Metal band to a very good Progmetal band. Especially
the vocals are very good and guitars are extremely sharp live!!!
only band I can forgive the occasional growling, also becouse they
use it very little. Certainly a very good addition to PP !!!!

This made the festival a ton better for me. I don't like "The Perfect Machine" as much as their first but it's still quite good and growing on me. I was hoping they'd be there last year. They've got a really good time slot so they should have plenty of time to cover most of their stuff. And you are right about Luppi. He's quite good.

'Stream Of Consciousness' and 'The Perfect Machine' are the 3th and 4th album from Vision Divine. See here:

There were two other albums recorded with Fabio Leone [Rhapsody] on vocals.

Doh! I meant "Stream of Conciousness", not their first. Even though it was the first of their's for me. It shouldn't be a problem enjoying that part of the show. :D

"Stream of Conciousness" was also the first VD album I liked and bought. I never cared for the albums that Leone vocalised :tickled:

I've heard the same from most people so you're not alone. :) I should try and find some downloads or something just to see for myself. I'll also have to get that DVD mentioned on the link you provided. I've heard good things about it.
