As I promised awhile ago, here are two links to some raw tracks for two current studio projects:

http://www.titanprosound.com/Eulogy_Final/
http://www.titanprosound.com/CH_Final/

Eulogy_Final - This is from the upcoming COAST CD. No click used. 3 guitarists. Acoustic Intro recorded in numerous layers. 60+ tracks total. DI, Reamped and POD tracks included. Trigger tracks included. This isn't the final tracking but good enough for a demo mix. Vox Included. This has Dan Zink on drums formerly of Acheron and Ringworm.

CH_Final (Catch Hell) - This is from the upcoming Further LO CD. No click used. DI and reamped tracks included. This was recorded live in the studio due to time constraints. Vox included.

We've already hired someone else (Splatt88) to mix and master both CD's but I know you guys are always looking for stuff to mix.

Enjoy.

very cool of you dude!

your stuff is always a treat to mix because it's all tracked andorganized very well and super detailed to boot (having DIs, triggers, reamped tracks, etc etc.)

thanks bro, hope I can find some time to at least check out the tracks and have a quick go at it..

*sigh* I wish I had a proper mix setup at home. My bedroom stereo kit really isn't any good for monitoring....

Anyways this is my first and probably only mix attempt as I really should try and do something productive with my day off. http://www.sneapforum.celtiaproductions.co.uk/PhilR/Coast%20- Eulogy.mp3

The abovementioned corrupt files wern't really an issue as I pretty much sample replaced everything anyway. :p What happened to the toms during tracking? That second tom barely has any level at all. Samples used were Steven Slate kick 1Z1 and snare 7Z2. Toms were taken from Drumkit From Hell v1, mainly because that 18" floor tom sample is just insanely huge sounding. :D

Guitars were shoved through RevalverII on some setting or other. Bass was IK Ampeg'd blah blah. Basically I presetted my way through the whole mix. I'm a total fraud I admit it. :p

Anyway, try to ignore the fact that it sounds like it was hurridly mixed on a bedroom stereo. 'cos it was.

I really like the drum tone on this, man I need to get those Steven Slate samples.

Trying to get my mix up but I'm having some bad luck with the Celtia website. I see that you guys are using it, but it keeps telling me "Enter Valid Email". I've tried two different valid addresses and still no luck. Any ideas?

The toms were heavily gated and I didn't know it. It was my first time using that Mackie board. I knew it would be okay since I still had the trigger tracks.

I had the same problem, so i took the ftp client route and everything worked fine.

MKS is there any possibility you could generate and upload some parity files for these rar archives as in both of them I had a number of files listed as corrupt and unextractable. Repairing the archive failes as neither contained any repair data.

You can download QuickPar from http://www.quickpar.org.uk/index.htm just about everybody that uploads multipart archives to Usenet uses it.

I probably won't be able to do this until the weekend but I will see what I can do.

Both sessions extracted without any problems here, so i think there is nothing wrong with your files.

PhilR what RAR compatible software are you using ?
Maybe it is outdated or something ?

Latest version of WinRAR. Dunno whats going on, I eventually got all the files but I had to re-download some of them.

Were the overhead tracks for the second song compressed? I'm having a bitch of a time with them as the snare really pounds through the OH tracks and they tend to pump a bit as well...
