No I've mixed 6 of the tracks actually, I feel my career has now peaked after mixing King Diamond track. Just need an Accept album to work on now and I'll die happy.

I think and Wagener should pair up and do an Accept. I'd absolutely die

King Diamond really kicks ass!!!
One of the best singer in this scene, really loved what he did in Mercyful Fate and as solo artist.
Back in 1999 I've been lucky enough to see him here in milan with mercyful fate at the gods of metal, it passed a long time since he toured italy, so a lot of people was there even for him.
Cool thing: on the bill there was metallica, they did a medley with hank shermann on guitars and King on vocals!!!
Great! King in a live situation is amazing! a very charismatic singer!
Too bad he doesn't tour that much here in europe

Right then...

JAMES.... I'd really like to see pics of your studio.

It appears as though you have a fucking WICKED property out there in florida. hot tub, sweet log cabinish home front, the dual dish action, etc etc.

I'd just like to see 5 or 6 cool interior studio pics....

Man.. there is a really rad pic of james and Jason ... so cool!!! If I could have been there.. even to just make a sandwich for either one of them, without being a total kiss ass.

i did not realize james was such a... traveler.. and well respected guy.

kudos james. Sorry to call you Jame Smurphy.

no, actually it's just a field with cows in it. :dopey:

it is heaven to Sasha though, the studio attack kitty, seen here hard at work.

Sweet cows!! You ever go out and tip 'em?

Cats rule. I took in a stray 1.5 years ago. She actually showed up out of the blue on the night of my birthday.

Jet black with green eyes... she rules. Still has no name, though most call her B.C. for birthday cat.

So... the studio pics, James?! =)

oh, you said INterior pics... aaahhhh. ok. well my studio, the new one i'm opening in Orlando, is under heavy renovation right now and won't be open for 5-6 more weeks. it has an SSL, PTHD Accel, 2" analog, loads of outboard, nicely designed control and live rooms, and 4 iso booths, and a midi/editing suite and big lounge with pool talbe and residential space. no photos yet but they will come in the upcoming weeks.

i do have a small space at home i use for editing and mixing and even mastering sometimes. it's pretty modest, and i'm sure some of you have comparable set ups at home. here's a pic.

and to the right of that big station i have a little edit station, the gear in which makes up most of my mobile rig when i'm on the road.

There is nothing "modest" about your rad dual display setup, James. :)

That is a rocking home studio, I'm on my way to a comparable setup but not quite there yet...

here's a close up of my little edit station... as you can see if you look close at the screen of the Powerbook, it's where i do most of my "forum-ing".

Nice james! How do you like those V4's (pros, cons) and what's that big monitor?
I'm looking for something good for under a grand. (if that's possible)

p.s. I just joined your forum

I thought you are right handed?
i am... as you can see in these 2 pics... the mouse is on the right on each station. Kensington Turbo Mouse Pro on the main station and standard Mac mouse on the edit station.

Ok, I see it's a mackie. Out of my price range I'm sure but what model out of
curiosity?

I think Frank 'nfurter is talking about that silver space age looking thing next to the candle and cup of pens. What the heck is that?
