nice one! you should have gotten quite some points with Larsson, Ljungberg and Rooney, haven't you? Btw the captain always gets double points, so maybe you choose someone else than Kahn. It worked good with me selecting Zidane, got 24 points for the first match by him.

My online league only opened for transfers for 6 hours between rounds, which I spent at work and at the pub, pretty much sucked.

m on about pubs it's not one of them wanna-be-anglo-isms, it actually was a pub. Good cheap one too, we discovered. Took me a while, but I finally found my fav pub in Copenhagen.

sounds pretty ok! about the transfers, there is always a certain period between the match days where you can transfer some players. you can either buy a new one for the rest of yer money (if there actually a rest) or exchange players which have the same value. If they don't, you will get some minus points i think.

oh well, what a bollocks, bollocks, bollocks. Germany played so crappy, they haven't even deserved this draw imo. I mean we had chances, many chances, BUT no one to use them AND Latvia should've gotten two penalities....Mr. Riley was very wrong there.
Well, we all got compensated by the probably best game so far Czech Rep. - Holland. What a game, with a happy end Nedved' s shot five minutes before the en on the bar, superb! Well Advocat will have a tough time the next days, because of him substituting Robben who was one of the best offensive players. Anyway, it's good for us they lost so we're still second. Still we have to face a very good Czech team, which will be unbelievably hard to beat, for we can only reach the quarters with a victory cause i don't think Holland will lose against Latvia.

So tomorrow is the big day for Portugal and Greece! I hope both will go to the next round! At least Greece would be cool!
