Lineup's not looking too bad at all so far - we've got Mastodon, Meshuggah, Anthrax, Motorhead, Megadeth, Slayer, Dinosaur Jr, Unearth, As I Lay Dying, Caliban, Killswitch Engage, and a bunch of other hard/metalcore acts. Oh, and Feeder, Garbage, Billy Idol, DKT/MC5, Nightwish, Slipknot, System Of A Down and a bunch of others I'm not too bothered about as well...

Me and my girlfriend are probably gonna go, but it kinda depends on whether my three-month contract at the incontinence pants place gets extended next week or not... hope I can afford it though, just to see Meshuggah and Mastodon if nothing else!

Friday June 10th - Sunday June 12th, with camping starting as early as Wednesday the 8th - it's a three-day thing, with Ozzfest incorporated into the Saturday - oh yeah, forgot to mention, original Black Sabbath line-up headlining on the Sat. Velvet Revolver are there too.

I ordered my ticket the other day, me and my mates are making a bloody great mish of it can't wait! Pity that the Friday is looking absolute wank, all emo bands apart from Megadeth

I'm okay with emo though, and the other half is mad on My Chemical Romance at the moment - I bought her the new album last week, and it's been on constantly round her house. 'Thank You For The Venom' and 'I'm Not Okay (I Promise)' have been whirling around my head for ages now...

Nah, I'm hoping it'll be alright...went I went to the 2003 one there were only two bands I wanted to see, but I enjoyed all the others I saw except InMe, Funeral For A Faggot and HIM yuk: )...I think I've heard most of these bands (and detested them) before but hopefully it'll be different in the live arena, eh?

HIM are there again (third year running) for some reason... must be going for the 'too-young-to-be-legal-goth/teenybopper' dollar... I'm quite chuffed that there don't seem to be any downright awful bands on the bill this year, just ones that I'm not fussed about. I will never understand the inclusion of The Hives and Peaches on last year's line up...

We had a funny thing when we saw them...my mate looked over at me and then gave me that "you're about to be sodomised" expression before nodding over my shoulder...there was this guy next to me dressed in all black, frilly shirt, long jet-black hair, black nail varnish and makeup and bleached white face, dancing around like a nonce on acid...I looked back at him and we flashed each other the "some people should never leave the house" expression

I definately need to do some co-ordination across the two stages so I know who to miss
