underated Iron Maiden songs

The entire album "The X Factor"....I'll NEVER understand why people dislike this album so much....even if they dislike it, people NEVER rank it up there with the best of Maiden, where it deserves to be! Blaze is an excellent vocalist....

Yeah, its a shame about the production. Truely awesome album, a vocal masterpiece IMO

Invaders. No one ever mentions it...
One that I love that doesn't seem to get mentioned much is actually Powerslave. I won't say it's underrated, but it just doesn't seem to get mentioned all that much. It's easily my favorite song off that album.

Invaders is one of my favorites, too. I was going to mention Powerslave as well but I figured it wouldn't be the thing to do in an "underrated" thread even though underrated is overused.

I'd say every one of my TOP 5 Maiden songs are criminally underrated:

To Tame A Land
Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
Deja Vu
Dream Of Mirrors
The Nomad

And yes, while "Piece Of Mind" is my favorite album of theirs, "Brave New World" has always been a close contender. It's the most complete Iron Maiden album I'd say; with another very underrated progressive gem called "The Thin Line Between Love And Hate".
It's really too bad though that "Dance Of Death" is such a poor follow-up.

Still though, very few people ever give Iron Maiden the respect they deserve.

BNW is indeed an awesome awesome album....i find blood brothers in particuarly to be especially emotional. i love pretty much all maiden. their worst song ever though is Bring Your Daughter.....UGGGGHHHHHH

By far my favorite Maiden track, and what I consider to be their most underrated song is The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner. Great music, and great lyrics, I think the lyrics are what makes it my favorite. I'd do anything to hear that song played live.

Can't forget "Dream of Mirrors." Well, anything from "A Brave New World" isn't as famous as Maiden's other stuff, but it all ranks among my favorites.
