well I spent my $9.87 at walmart and picked this up. The artwork was horrible from the start (winner I think of fanclub/forum contest) and I don't buy albums based on artwork.
I've only made it thru 3 tracks + I skipped to A tout Le Monde which I soooooo like the original better, why even bother with a remake unless you hope to sell albums because of Cristina S. which is completely possible.
so far I'm enjoying it but it's seems it's missing that anger/drug hazed edge hmmmm WWJD ?

I don't buy albums based on artwork either, but come on this is 2007. They could have done better!!!!
The album is missing something. Collaboration, collaboration, collaboration, this after all a band effort right?! The label is under the Warner Brother umbrella now, kick in some money and get him some help!

Nope.
After CW the only couple of songs from Megadeth that really impressed me were: 'Promises' and 'Dread And The Fugitive Mind' and those weren't enough to make me buy TWNAH. I downloaded TSHF, listened to it several times and decided is wasted money, and even if 'Kick The Chair' would have impressed me is not enough to have an album.
In this day an age at least 75% of the album must be good enough to worth the expense and/or the album must have (if possible) one song that hits you so hard that is the song that saves the album. For example 'The Desintegrators' in CW, 'Tornado Of Souls' in RIP, 'Looking Down The Cross' in KIMBABIG, etc.

I didn't think the album cover was as bad as you make it out to be Sixx. Nothing amazing, but wasn't bad at all. At least it doesn't have the cover the last 2 Skid Row records had.

RPM might lack something but I'll be honest I'd go with a shot of a fucking chrome rim before that new Megadeth cover!!!!!

There's no account for taste, I like it for the same reasons I like Judas Priest with Tim Owens but I can't stand Iron Maiden with Blaze Bayley (and after him neither).
I don't like King Diamond/Mercyful Fate but I like Force Of Evil. I don't like Kreator much but I love "Outcast" and "Endorama", I don't like Amorphis except for "Am Universum" and "Far From The Sun", I like Sentenced but only from "Down" and afterwards. I like Rush new album but I consider VT a boredomfest (and Sound Master will disagree with me)
I don't like growlers or harsh vocals much but I love Motorhead, Goddess Of Desire, Sabaton, Coroner.
I consider Zakk Wylde a cretin and I despise his work with Ozzy and BLS but I love his work with Derek Sherinian.
I don't like opera but I a huge old Nightwish fan. I dislike Manowar but I like Majesty.
I don't like Slayer, Grave Digger, Accept and countless other bands people revere. I like Chainsaw (and Carnut will puke with just mention them).
In a nutshell want to get an answer for your question, get into my mind for I can't explain it with words.
P.S. You see Sixx was right you should went there
