US elections.

Two scariest things I ever saw this week. A group of wives of US service men proudly bleating to the British press that they would be so proud if their husbands die for their country, and two men from Ohio telling same British interviwer that 'Religious folks make the best decisions, thats why the world is so messed up, cos there are so many atheists running the place'. I've tried to be fairly broad minded about the States but frankly those dumb mutha fuckas deserve the Bush administration.

Go back to bed America, your government is in control again. Here, here's American Gladiators. Watch this, shut up. Go back to bed America, here's American Gladiators. Here's 56 channels of it. Watch these pituitary retards bang their fuckin skulls together and congratulate you on living in the land of freedom. Here you go America, you are free... to do as we tell you. You are free, to do as we tell you." - Bill Hicks

.......... this makes me a sad Wenda.

How can these people not realise the fact that religion is the reason behind a great deal of terrorism and war? The conflict in the Middle East, and September 11 and probably most other non-greed-related world conflict? I...don't...understand. Though I suppose when he says the word 'religious' he probably just means 'Christian fundamentalist', and 'atheists' means 'Godless heathens who follow one of those filthy foreign religions *thump bible*'.

They have said Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton are the two front runners for the next Republican nomination, and Hillary will never get the nod, so imagine that, ANOTHER Bush!

Im not one for conspiracy theories (outside of Deus Ex) but this New World Order thing gets less and less far fetched every day.

Why not Hillary? If Bill Clinton was able to run, he would have won quite easily - so why not his wife?

I think he means the next election will be contested between Hilary Clinton and Jeb Bush.

Hilary's sure to TRY for the Dem nomination in 2008, but she has to win that first. I'm hoping Howard Dean will give it another bash.

Yep thats what I meant to write Sydo :)

They wont vote for a woman for a start, but more importantly, she has too many harsh viewpoints on things. Apparently most of the "heartland" of America dont like her. Bill Clinton could have bombed America and still won, he had the charisma to do it, Hillary doesnt.

Todd,
most of the talk that I've seen on the Conservative U.S. BBs (which include a bunch of people who refer to Bush as a "left wing pansy, but the best we can get at present") are picking two women next time.

Hillary and Rice.

A few are picking Juliani, but most Rice.

The black guy won't be running - shit, he'd have only been a senator for 4 years! I pin him down for 2016 :)

I hope to god they don't try for Rice - she's an evil bitch.

Guliani is a wife-dumping opportunist. Plus he's too liberal for the wingnuts (he's pro-choice for a start).
