interest rates are super low. i'm looking at properties and the rates would be in the 4-4.5 range.

refinancing would def save you some cheese.

Frankly, I'm kinda in a fucked up position. Her parents are going above and beyond to get this done for us. But I still think it's bad timing. I even kinda feel like a douche and get awkward because of what they are doing for us. I came from nothing and am not used to this kinda generosity tbh. I almost feel like Im smacking them in the face or saying "its not good enough" if I deny it all. But, in their defense as well, they worry about it all as well. Theyre just trying to help us out and do what they think is in our best interest.

Japan will have no actual affect on anything.....but speculators will pretend it does, so they can make more money. Just like the "uprising" in Libya has caused oil prices to escalate

some dude came into my work today talking about how this catastrophe in Japan is going to help lead the US economy to crash. he was talking about how he was "preparing for the worst." he also made this creepy declaration:

"when the US economy crumbles, my hobby is going to be hugely beneficial."

keep in mind the whole time he said this shit he just stared at me without looking away like a serial killer. smooth.

Did you point out that Japan's economy tanked about a decade ago and has yet to recover? And that the U.S.'s is already in the shitter?
