Usher and Katatonia

The song "Dancing December" always reminded me of some shit song I heard a long time ago, and it finally just hit me. Usher's "You got it bad" has almost the same exact chord changes in the intro. Just listen to this:



Then go listen to the intro Dancing December. Katatonia obviously was first and I'm pretty sure Usher doesn't get inspiration from ole Kata. Please tell me I'm not crazy with this comparison.
