Vader cabs

Fo sho, I believe he still has a Mesa OS as well so you could A/B them there.

Well you could get a Vader and throw in the Hellatone 60s from Avatar and it'd be cheaper.

Honestly I'd say go with a Mesa cab. I have a Vader cab for a long time and loved it, up until I took it to a studio. It was completely useless there. I recently bought a Marshall MF280 cab and it ate the Vader alive in all situations. I loved it so much that I bought another MF280 and sold the Vader.

Vaders have this cold percussive tone, they're low end heavy and dark sounding, but at the same time they don't completely change your tone. It's good for bright amps and/or amps on the thin side which is why they pair so well with Peavey ultra series amps. Eventually I got tired of it and realized a good V30 (although the V30s in my cab are Hellatone 60Ls) easily beats the Eminence 120 watt speaker.
