Varg Vikernes: "I Am Ready For Society".

he stabbed him 20 some times before that and they said the extra wounds were from falling on a lamp. That's obviously ridiculous.

I read Varg's article on the murder. Perhaps I'm a very gullible person, but I don't see what he would gain from lying about the lamp. He claims that Euronymous was trying to run away, and then he chased after him and tried to stab kill him, and managed to stab him a few times, and then Euronymous fell and broke a lamp with his arm or head and then landed on the glass fragments in his underwear. He got back up and then Varg stabbed him in the forehead. I don't see how a number of stab wounds would make his crime any better or worse in any way.

Do I have to do anything with the matches and petrol or can I just go there? If so, will they still arrest me for burning it down?

my guess is he just said as a joke. example? the first day of his trial he wore braided pigtails and giggled everytime they mentioned the murder. also, we've all seen that scary grin he gave the camera when he was found guilty

He never should've killed Euronymous in the first place, pre-emptive strikes don't justify the murder. But he has to live with the consequences of our actions like all of us do. The church burnings really don't bother me as such, if he had just done that he would've gotten out of prison a long time ago. But we'll probably never know why Vikernes stabbed(or had alleged wounds, in whatever matter you view it) Euronymous 20 times because even if the story about falling on lampshades is a lie, there's no way Vikernes will incriminate himself further. I want to see him get out of prison to record the new Burzum album though, but things like the Norwegian government's biased views on him will keep him in there for the next few years or so. He is being made an example of as black metal is not exactly the Mainstream's choice of music, rather the antithesis.

I hope the next Burzum record is on acoustic guitar. That would be my favorite thing of all-time. Not folky like that Agalloch crap but metallic stuff like Impaled Northern Moonforest, except good, and of course serious.

edit: A lot of Black Metal is pretty soft already. Particularly Burzum. Very slow and subdued, though dark and harsh. It depresses me that these bands like Agalloch and Alcest soften up black metal in all the wrong ways. You don't need to pussify the kind of instrumentation, you just need to play the same kind of riffs and structures in a slightly different way. It could make for a pretty awesome sound. The acoustic guitar is so typecasted it's disgusting. You don't have to play pathetic Dave Mathews singer-songwriter material on an acoustic guitar, it can do so many more things and it virtually never gets a chance to in modern music.

I hate you in so many ways.

I'd like to see a picture of his wife

He has very traditional views of women (thinking they should be housewives)...I doubt he would even allow a picture of his wife on the net haha.

Big Dave Mathews fan, huh? Not saying he's bad, it's just that there's so much more to the acoustic guitar than singer-songwriter style material. Listen to that old folk-blues stuff and see how intense an acoustic guitar can be. But nobody plays that way anymore.

As for Black Metal, hey it's not me that made it soft. The 3rd wave stuff can get pretty brutal but the original 2nd wave was very laidback.

^ I don't think a few years in jail over a church arson is worth getting my black metal band hyped to Hell and back, I mean you could possibly get signed to something decent like Moribund if you got hafway decent stuff and the hype of bringing USBM to be a frightening thing, or who knows Candlelight, etc.. maybe it is worth it in the longrun now that I think about it and read stories of short sentences for some arsons(I'm not advising anyone to burn a church down btw) though. :p

I think that murderers should be in jail for life because i highly doubt that kind of rage is able to be supressed but since it's Norway's law i guess it's ok. He probably won't kill again unless he gets mad at his newborn and eats it, or something.
:zombie:. 'that kind of rage' cant be suppressed? I don't see any of the stuff he did to be credited to turborage, because he would instead be on a christian-killspree rather than burning down churches if he had anger issues.
I believe that killing can be an addiction and it takes a certain type of person to have enough rage in them to kill. Most people wouldn't keep stabbing over and over again. After a certain point it's no longer self defense.
Again.. :zombie:. He only made sure the death was as quick as possible so he could get away in time. 'Addiction'? And it doesnt take 'rage' to be insensitive enough not cringe or something at the sight of a bloodwound. There are plenty of people who do have balls and can take a sight of a dying man without any pukaegia.
Didn't know we had retards visiting this forum :guh:

Well I hope it's good, black metal is more accepted in Norway now than when Varg was imprisoned, back then black metal was considered a threat and not a musical art form. I know Varg probably has lots to get off his chest, and Im sure he will write something grim, but who knows he could do something totally out of the blue. Regardless, a new Burzum record will be huge in the black metal scene, and might even hit the charts.
