Varg Vikernes is born in 1973, Hellhammer in 1969, Demonaz (Immortal) in 1970, Abbath (Immortal) in 1973, Grutle Kjellson (Enslaved) in 1973, Ivar Bjørnson (Enslaved) in 1977 or 1978, Fenriz of Darkthrone in 1971, Nocturno Culto (DT) in 1972, Necrobutcher of Mayhem in 1968, Garm (Ulver) in 1977, Øystein G. Brun (Borknagar) in 1975, Satyr Wongraven (Satyricon) in 1975, Frost (Satyricon) in 1973, Ihsahn in 1975.

Not that all of these were Inner Circle members (if it ever existed, that is).

So most of them were around 20-25 years old when Euronymous was stabbed.

I hope that that is the end of it: he's not going to be gate-arrested for any naughtiness (incendiary-related)?

I think that he has done his time, and wonder what he might add to or subtract from to the metal scene.

If any justice has been done; he will have been properly informed.

I think a good majority of the time people with lack of musical knowledge have short-lived careers. If they have long careers, they are uninteresting careers. Obviously Varg isn't going to recover and come back with some musically amazing album, unless he's been studying music while in prison, which would mean he actually did something worthwhile with his time.

Maybe he could actually evolve and create something new, innovative, and interesting. I'd give that an open-minded listen.
