VCC test (non-metal)

First one better balance.
Second warmer.
I prefer the first, but would add a little air to sweeten it. Overall lovely effect tho.

Love the sound of your cymbals/overheads now - could almost be in the room. Your lead guitar has gone a bit spanky though.
Difficult customer here, sorry lol.

Thanks. How might I make it less 'spanky'?

I've been working on some assumptions here. I assumed that you had put a mix on this beforeadding VCC?
So have the differences in each posted version come solely from changes to VCC or have you been tweaking the mix or EQing the master buss as well?

No changes to VCC ('RC' on all tracks, 0 drive), merely tweaking the mix and master a bit. It's way too bass-heavy, no?
