Wing Chun Vs. Kyokushin Karate

Is all I can find at the moment, I'll try to dig more up. Chain punches = don't work.

Don't have any of actual street fights, but I'll look. This is merely one instance and certainly not sufficient for a wide.

And yeah, Bruce Lee is not the end all be all of martial arts, but he is a very good source and is, like you said, creator of a style/methodology that is mixed martial arts (JKD). He did however, state many times that wing chun is effective.

Moreover, why is it then that many of the top martial artists DO integrate wing chun into their styles? Emin Boeztpe, Dan Inosanto, Tassos Anastasios Pangiotopoulos, Keith R. Kernspecht, and many others agree it indeed is effective.

Here's another source:

Studies shows that techniques based on Avci Wing Tsun and Escrima are very effective as they can easily be applied without any show offs and wthout exess violance.

For the above mentioned reasons, Sifu Avcı has been invited to the Conferance by the Organisation Committee, and the changes in German Special Police Teams resulted by Avci Wing Tsun and Escrima and more democratic police applications will be informed to the participants by a panel session and posters.

The problem with your argument is that it is based entirely on theory. Theoretic martial arts are all well and good, if they actually can hold up to real, controlled, documented, stress testing ie: NHB competition.

Are you kidding? You TOTALLY overlooked so much of my post. READ AGAIN.

Also, I don't care much what Bruce Lee had to say, as there are plenty of people alive now that are just as good fighters and modern.

See above.

Ciao.
