Vintersorgs new one!!!!

I went out and bought the new Vintersorg album after hearing the song "the explorer"....they are awesome.....
anyone else got this puppy......what are your thoughts......
after giving it a listen the explorer is still my favourite...and over all is a good production.

Yeah, it's a fucking awesome album, Vintersorg rules. Steve's bass playing is great too, really adds to the songs. ESP Mirage is probably my favourite song.

it was the first vintersog album i've bought, i had some mp3's of some of his stuff. i was dissapointed because i bought vintersorg expecting to hear some of the folk-black metal i heard from the mp3's and instead got a spacey jazz metal album. don't get me wrong, after absorbing visions from the spiral generator i love it, but i REALLY want his older albums.

Hey bleedingskeptic I suggest Odemarkens Son, in my opinion it is the album that best conveys the beauty of nature that he used to get across, which he unfortunately dosn't do anymore

same here. a little too many electronic beeps but it still is good and makes me want to own all his older stuff. my favorite song from it is Spegelsfären.

I think it's a great album, he gets proggier with every release, and the rhythm section does some awesome work. Favorites would be ESP Mirage, A Metaphysical Drama, and The Explorer.

I liked the new borknagar much better for some reason. His voice just had more going for it on that album.

Well, I don't really stand on either side of the argument, so you're not gonna get much reaction out of me, I'm afraid.

Although I do like having the ability to download music, I always buy music that I really like.


With the exception of Vintersorg...


(honestly, though, VFTSG isn't my favorite album, or I probably would buy it anyway).
