Guys, it is with great pleasure that I present the fruits of a blissful day of no classes: my second batch of impulses using my JSX into my Stiletto cab! I wasn't able to sign out my school's studio, unfortunately, but I took the lessons learned from my previous batch (here's that thread), mostly in increasing the Resonance for some more low end, as well as throwing in some off-axis 57 impulses and even a couple I did with my housemate's AKG C1000 (which he really liked on a guitar cab during a project awhile ago; this was my first time using it, so I can't really judge its sound, but I think the impulses are pretty good, so that's a good sign!)

Here's the link (AND THESE CAN REPLACE MY ORIGINALS, THOSE ARE CRAP COMPARED TO THIS BUNCH!! :))

Unlike in my last batch, I can't for certain say which of the five on-axis 57 impulses I like best, which is a good thing, cuz they all sound pretty good to me; I really hope you guys agree! This forum honestly is one of the biggest sources of meaning in my existence; that might sound pitiful at first, but what I mean is that my music (and by extension, ability to record it) is THE single biggest driving force in my life, and having a community like this that understands, supports, and helps me develop that driving force is a godsend! So these impulses are the least I could do, and once again, I hope you dig 'em! Here's a couple of crappy camera-phone pics (no reason to include the TV in the pic except that, well, I really like my TV :D)

Is that fucking V8 in the cup on your desk Marcus?!

How un-metal...

Thanks man! Appreciate that. I only hope I'll get a chance to do a ton of clips with all these wonderful impulses people have provided lately. Would you say it's safe to wipe the original set of impulses you posted?

Personally, I'd at least hang on to his "57edge" impulse. It's a keeper (IMO).

Yeah, I'd agree with that Mark, thanks! Just drop it in the 57/On Axis folder in the new batch, and can the rest of the originals I'd say. Hopefully Dimi catches sight of these soon, I really wanna hear what he can do with 'em! :)

Haha, well not at the time of the day that picture was taken, jesus  And actually, while I love V8 and I...despise Vodka the least out of all alcohols (about the highest praise I can muster  ), I tried the combo the other night and couldn't even finish it :ill: Vodka and any kind of citrus fruit juice (ooh, or Italian peach nectar, that stuff is godly) still reigns supreme as my drink of choice!

Oh, and by the way, scratch what I said above - all my original impulses sound like they were recorded through a 4 inch speaker in comparison to the new, so can them all Moony! And Mark, if you liked 57Edge, wait till you hear these! :D (to give you a little guidance, On-axis 57's 1 + 4 are brighter and 2, 3, + 5 are darker, but with the increased presence option for those it's quite a selection if I do say so myself! :))

Can't wait to try them! Was too busy cooking tonight while watching the debate and making comments...like they could actually hear me. LOL I'll try at least reamping some stuff through these tomorrow evening. And yeah, I'd like to hear what Dimi can do with these. Maybe I can bug him about it too. :)

Thanks again Marcus! :worship:
