VOLUME 2: More (and better) JSX + Mesa Stiletto 4x12 Impulses!

Haha, you're welcome ;) Just bought your CD by the way, can't wait to get it! :headbang: And HOLY SHIT is your Ibanez beautiful, my good god - just finally had a good look on your website, that abalone binding is beyond breathtaking; the color, fading from blue to green to light yellow/gold, and then the gold pickguard, WOW - I've honestly never seen anything like it, but in this case, that's a very very good thing! Excellent taste my friend.

:worship: Thanks for your support Man! :worship:
Yeah, the guitar was thoughtful project... But the guy that made the project is really precise...and you can see it from the guitar :) I love it :):headbang:

btw, here is something that I'm working on and just used your new impulses with Revalver's JSX amp...

Hey Metaltastic!! Thanks a lot dude!!! I haven't tried them but I was pretty sure that the new ones would be even better than the previous ones and Blackbird's short clip is a great example!! By the way, Blackbird, nice tone and playing!!!

dude you'Re metaltastic. I LOVE the new ones. On-axis-3-more-presence is just tearing my speakers apart. My new favorite.
@Kazrog: if you beat these, you're my new god ;)

This is really kewl stuff, dood.
Not to mention - I just did a video and brought up this very thing.
Good stuff, sir.
Good stuff.
Thank you for the post (BTW).

Thanks a ton dude! I'm also finding (in my limited chance to test them so far) that I'm kinda preferring the darker ones (2, 3, + 5) with more presence over the fizzier ones (1, 4) with less. But I'm happy with all of 'em, so now I need to decide which of my OWN I like best! You gotta post some clips of your e530 through these, I love the sound of that sucker! :kickass:

And by the way, the presence on the regular ones was at 6, and on the more-presence ones 6.5 - but as you can hear, that .5 makes all the difference on this amp!

I got a friend to send me some riffs taken directly out of his Soldano X99. High pass 70Hz, Low pass 12kHz, C4 controlling mid-bass, SM57 On Axis 2 impulse: http://www.esnips.com/doc/5ba787c6-ecf0-40e2-ad4c-7ba57c2a74ab/jimtone-impulse

Tone is a little on the 2-dimensional/fizzy side, but I think that's something he's doing himself. The impulses seem to blow away all the other ones I have in my collection. Nice job! Now for someone to try it with Nebula 3, so the impulses actually move a bit with the tone...

Yeah, wow, that fizz/treble is definitely coming from the preamp, cuz none of them sound remotely like that when I use 'em on my Wagner Sharp II chain! (and especially because 57 On Axis 2 + 3 are the darkest of the bunch, and he didn't even use high presence! ) I can't wait until I get a new head so I can use the preamp out, Wagner isn't quite doing it for me (a little too dark). Thanks for the clip and the comments man! And Hoehlentroll, I can't get yours to play dude!

Yeah, I'm trying to work out what went wrong with his set-up.

A Soldano, to me, should be sounding closer to the 'My Machine' clip on my myspace page. Tons of sharp mid-focus, none of that annoying buzz, but still with that very distinctive half-nasal character.

I wish I had a set-up here to give your impulses a proper try, but for the time being I have to make do with other people's haha.
