Vote for Final Stage's Artwork!

Look around the net for artwork of a Phoenix. Many artists (not ones that actually get money for their work) would be more than happy to allow his/her art displayed as a cover on your release as long as they are mentioned in the credits.
One other suggestion (though I am not trying to say I am some guru about cover art) is go with plenty of green and or blue on your sleeve. While a Phoenix burns and rises from the ashes which would be black, gray, red orange, etc. too many metal bands use those colors. If you go with some blue and green which are cooler colors and maybe not exactly "metal" it will stand out more.

It seems funny that the people who like #4 want us to play it up like we're not a metal band, while people who like 1 or 3 want us to play up that we are a metal band.
I've looked for weeks at different artwork's of phoenixes and there was nothing that really hit home. One of the best I've seen yet has come from artwork #3.

"The Phoenix".

Nice Avatar BTW :headbang:

Thanks dude. I'm due for a new one though. And my sig is hurtin' too.

Yeah, I like 3 as well, based on the name. I would crop out the trees at the bottom though...don't like them for whatever reason. If the bird took up or covered the whole span (no pun intended) of the cover, I think that would be cool. In other words, crop it a little.

We went with 4

Cool choice. Sometimes simplicity can be the best ally. The logo of the band is also important to enhance the visual effect.

You can still use another of the pictures for the inner booklet pics or for the bottom of the jewel case (providing you're using a crystal one)
