Wah pedal recommendations?

My buddy loves the Morley cuz of the optical way it works... says it wont wear down as easily or some such shit... check those out maybe?

I've got a Vox V847 (the modern one) and it works great for me - I think the Crybaby is supposed to be smoother changing from bass to treble, but I don't sweep slowly enough to really notice a difference, but there is a very definite point where it changes from low to high which I think is less obvious on the Crybaby

I love my Dunlop 535Q. I've been using it for years, and it sounds great. It's sweep and volume are adjustable, and the unit is very reliable.

Dunlop's DB-01! A friend of mine has it, it's got all the right features making it super awesome no matter the genre. The only downside (personally) is its camo paintjob :( but that one can be fixed with little effort.
It's so much more flexible compared to the two other Dunlops he has (GCB95 & 95Q), which in turn sound fine on their own. It's the next item on my buylist as well!

Never really dug the Morley wahs, but I like the Crybaby 535Q, original Crybaby, the Budwah, and if you have the money, my favorite is the Fulltone Clyde Deluxe.

you may also wanna look at boss's v-wah. you get a whole bunch of pedal simulators including the horsie, crybaby, electro harmonix fuzz etc. etc.
it has a built in noise gate and metal zone, so its just an all around awesome pedal. i get a nice clean, tone that mixes with drums and vocals perfectly!

Can't beat the Morley Bad Horsie. The electro-optical design allows you to just tap it real quick if you just want to 'wah' the odd note or two (and you can tweak the little nodger inside so the switching is instantaneous).

Always been the Bad Horsie for me ...

I think it works better than alot of Wha pedals especially when working with HIGH GAIN settings, the Cry Baby seems to get lost in the tone when scooping the mids too much... atleast to my ears. I do preferfer the 535Q to the standard.

I been messing witht he hendrix WHA recently and dont notice much difference from my dads old VOX .... although dad's Vox has a little more pronounced WHA effect and a bit more SWEEP to it .....

For High Gain the Bad Horsie is my choice.
