Hey

I work with a Radial J48 for quite long now and for some reason I think I need to grab something better in the same price range, say 200-260€. I'm thinking about a Countryman Type 85, very recommanded obviously. But I find the pad on th J48 very useful in some cases. You, T85 users, never had any issue on this point as it does not have one? And the T85 would be really better than the J48?

Also lurking on the RNDI by Ruppert Neve, more expensive tho. Don't know if it's worth to spend more money on this one..?

Thank you!

I went with the Little Labs Redeye 3d. It has a pad, two inputs with varying impedance, AND is a reamper.

Quite honestly I prefer my pro48 to my type 85.

The type 85 is fine, it's just a minute difference tho, but mine also happen to have problems running with phantom power and it's unfixable since the circuit board is inside a mold.
