Even though most peoples children were alive, they were all orphaned because all communication was lost. There was no way to find each other. The city is most still in ruins after all this time. People got diseases from the raw sewage and hundreds of thousands of pets were left in shelters, or to fend for themselves.

It was one of, if not the worst disaster in American history. So many horror stories to tell, so much political/racial bullshit, and so many failures. But this was one of the comical results:

And "Affirmative Action" is a way YOUR government has COLLECTIVELY decided was one step towards compensating african americans for the wrongs they suffered due to POLICIES the government put in place in the past. A way to ameliorate black-white relations and make up for things they did wrong in the past. Sure it seems unfair to you, but the way blacks were treated prior to the 60's is A LOT MORE FUCKING UNFAIR, don't you think? So suck it up, they did for a LOOOONG time. Quit whining.

EDIT: Anyways, this is yet ANOTHER issue that's too complicated for COBOT, so no need to further draw out this matter.
