I'd like to know how all of this affects you and why you care so much? Its not like racism is the same is canada any how. And I've said this before but seriously... if you could come to my city for one day... you'd laugh your ass off and at least understand where i'm coming from. I should make a video for you...
black people are actually nice and respectful in canada...
Heh, wrong. Where do you get these notions? There's MANY nice/respectful africans in the US... Ignorant people are everywhere.. doesn't matter what race. A black person can be just as rude as a white person, and a canadian black can be just as ignorant as an american black, and same for whites, asians, indians,
everyone, everyone can be assholes! I do understand the feelings and experiences you have where you live that makes you
THINK it's ok to talk the way you do, but you're mistaken. I don't care if you live in Detroit and get RAPED and beaten everyday... still have no right to be a racist. (I'd understand it a lot more in that case, but it's still not an excuse.)
To allow the assholes to make you into a less intelligent, biased individual is sorta like allowing them to win, cause they've affected you. If you remain a level headed, fair person, then that shows your true character. So there's assholes where you live... same here, good, hate them, but don't hate them cause they're black or attribute the behaviour to their race, that's just the dumbest thing you could do. If you hate your city that much that's it's affecting your brain and judgement, maybe you should move then. And as for asking why I care so much, you should ask yourself a similar question, which is why you don't care enough?
But whatever, I think it's just because you're young, grown up biased and have a lack of understanding. Someday you'll realize that to talk that way doesn't empower your point, and doesn't belittle anyone other than yourself. I hope you realize this cause you do have intelligence intermittanly scattered around inside you, you just need to mature and develop more, and hopefully that happens, then you will be a fairly decent person. I think you just need a change of environment for that to happen.
