Basically, my friends,

I decided to buy a water pipe.

- It's not very practical.
- My girlfriend will hate it
- Smoke everywhere
- Takes space in our already super small apartment

4/4

Going for it.

I decided this in Estonia, water pipes everywhere. Turns out I don't actually fall asleep nor vomit after smoking it.

Needs to be at my place.

Any recs?

Big fucking bitch also.

Roors are one of the big names bong manufacturers and they're great, but they're also pretty pricey. It would run you 300 euro for a full size one. Just look for something that's glass of good quality and as airtight as possible. Beaker bottoms are my favorite. Over the top ones with a bunch of percolators are nice, but they're also more of a hassle to keep clean, so I wouldn't recommend it. For cleaning, you can use rubbing alcohol and epsom salt. It cleans up really easy that way.

Dude weed lmao

What? Who's talking about weed?

I wanted to buy one in Berlin in this Turkish neighborhood but then realized they're like twice as expensive than when I buy in Czech, so that was postponed. I will find some time to visit a specialized store, hopefully thu or fri.

Are you talking about Shisha/Hookah? Get a Khalil Mamoon. Great brand, and affordable

Anytime bro. I used to work in the hookah industry so ask away. I know there are huge differences between the European and American markets though. It might be difficult to find KM hookahs in Europe, but there are some good German brands you can substitute with. AMY comes to mind.

Another thing I've noticed is that Europeans tend to use Quick-Lite charcoals, which is a fucking travesty. If I walk into a shisha bar and they start lighting those fucking things, I walk straight back out. Get you some real coconut charcoal, it may take longer to heat, but they will last you 5x longer, it will taste 100x better, and it will be healthier for you.

Finally, don't get a double valve shisha. Single valve or bust. Sure it sounds nice that multiple people can have their own hose, but it's a scam because when someone smokes, everyone else has to plug their hose to improve the air flow.

Let me know what kind of molasses they have in your local smoke shop, just out of curiosity. I know Nakhla is super popular over there. I'm wondering if Starbuzz and Fumari has made its way to Europe yet considering how big they've gotten here in the States.

Cool! Noted.

Singlevalve it is.

Yeah those brands are available here. Definitely seen Nakhla and Fumari around.

How much do you think the size matters and why?

Yeah the quick burning circular charcoals are the ones being used here. In the Turkish stores in Berlin they were different. I'lI see if I can find those you mentioned.
