Waves NX - Virtual Mix Room

Did not see something about it here so far. I jumped on the Waves discount day to buy it - curiosity!

Well my first try with it today has been a bit... weird actually. I think it could be really cool in some cases, for me just like all of you that don't have a proper mixing room. Mixing through it tho, I don't think so but I still gotta dig more and get used to it to have a real opinion. Some of you have already tried this plugin?

It felt weird for me too when I demoed it. But I guess it's just a matter of getting used to it. I probably end up purchase Nx too.

Without using it with something like Sonarworks headphone calibration, I don't see it being very useful. Plus, you have to have a Webcam that's able to get 30fps to get the full benefits that this plugin was designed for (head-tracking).

I think I'll skip it. Nice idea, though.

Still trying the plugin but I quickly end by bypassing it. So weird to my ears, I've never been in a serious mixing/mastering room tho.
I'd really like to get a feedback from mastering guys!
