Echannel is perfect for toms.
Gchannel is great for kick and snare
The seperate EQ is great. Sometimes the V-eq is too creamy and the Api-eq is too extrem (because of the 2dB steps) then I take the SSL EQ to get the guitars right.
The comp is great, but I think everybody knows that by now

I'm trying to download the CLA compressors demo (Native). I've managed to get a demo license deposited to my iLok account, but where do you download the actual thing?

you have to register to the waves.com site (for free)
then you can download all the demos.

All demos are TDM & native, so dont be confused if you only see TDM demos....

I have registered and have gotten the iLok license, I just can't seem to find a download link to the CLA compressors demo specifically? Did I miss something?

Edit: it seems to be correct. One big installer for all Waves products, and you tick off the ones you want to install from within the installer app...

I have the jjp eq´s in my platinum bundle.
They are cool, but very limitated!!!

If you want one of the coolest waves Plugins. Buy the H-bundle.
Best delay plugin ever imo, and a super versatile compressor.

I love the api bundle and the v-bundle

FWIW the C6 UI seems to lag Cubase. Not sure if it's a bug in every daw, but so far I've preferred the C4, haha.

FYI - No lag in Pro Tools.

Is there any love for the JJP bundle?

I downloaded the demo for a Mastering i did a while back. And honestly, i could live without them, i have the BF Pultec bundle and im really happy with them.

The only thing you get with the JJP that's cool is the 50-60Hz noise.

agreed about the JJP stuff. the EQ's (platinum bundle) are decent but not all that versatile... and I didn't really get what the big deal was when I demo'd the fairchild.

also agreed about the H stuff... i've said it before but those are some of my favourite waves plugs ever. the compressor is just as good as the CLA comps plus way more flexible. It's pretty much all of those compressors and more in one.
