It's not like SW made Deliverance not be as good as the others...he didn't write the songs. He DID write Death Whispered a Lullaby which is one of the best songs on Damnation.

And as great as Opeth is, Porcupine Tree is still better.

I don´t get this "I met Opeth!" thing. They´re just people, not gods. Haven´t we - metalheads - got over the screaming of little girls when they see Britney Spears? Why do you behave yourselves like them?

I guess some people like opeth to ruin their "reputation". But by bitching and whining about it you sound more like a school girl than I do. Everyone complains about the threads i post, then tell me what would you rather hear?

Porcupine tree sounds like every band on the planet mixed together, it can sound like radohead to jeff buckley to pearl jam. Prentious band that really isnt as good as Opeth, even though Opeth are pretty pretentious. At least they do it with style and class and manage to make it not sound like anythign else.
