That makes sense. I still really like their sound, but it's easy to tell that most of their music is lower quality than a lot of other metal. It's not bad, just not as good. Schaffers lyrics, for the most part, blow, but I like the kinds of songs he writes.

Any band who is going to make a freaking album about Gettysburg gets my horns up in return.

The album is about confrontations througout history. The extra disc is about Gettysburg. It's one large (32 minute) song split into three tracks (one for each day of the battle). Schaffer is a huge civil war buff, apparently. The whole thing is, essentially, a musical description of the battle. It's not like some sort of commentary on it.

I just like that he decided to approach as someone who loves history instead of trying to be all poetic and shit about it. Again, I think his lyrics usually blow, but he did a good job with this.
