Do you mean the Psalm 9, The Skull, Run to the Light TROUBLE?
Sure they started in the late 70's, but didn't release a demo until the 80s.
Furthermore, they really didn't become "rock" until the 90's.
Maybe you are speaking of another band????????
I listen to 70'a rock more than anything basically, and my favourites are:
-Camel
-Gentle Giant
-King Crimson
-Uriah Heep (Salisbury is such an awesome album)
-Pink Floyd
-Queen (A Night at the Opera, a masterpiece)
...and of course Led Zeppelin and Sabbath
