Metallica, Dark Tranquillity, Faith No More, Slayer, Pink Floyd, Megadeth, Shadows Fall, Soilwork, Nevermore... those all are pretty essential.


I listen to a ton of shit though.. a lot of non metal stuff.. Offspring, Garbage, Eminem (hiss! gasp!) throw in some Def Leppard for nostalgia, too.. \m/

As for right now: I really like Corrosion of Conformity, Down, Godflesh, and David Gray...

there are also a lot of bands and singers I listen to when the mood strikes. It all changes day by day.

opeth v, i understand you're new, but such a topic is likely to have been discussed in almost every board online, with the possible exception of the official bridge engineering for dummies forum (tm). so why don't you try searching the board next time? it's easy and surprisingly productive.

Yep, Rahvin's right (except the part concerning the bridge engineering). So, there are two solutions availables:

A) Another great thread following the surfer tradition: "What are my favourite bands, considering I'm a regular dumbass of this board" <---- If you're the dumbass, post here.


B) Add the fave bands of the regulars into Salamy's web page.


By the way, I noticed I'm into the "Rest Of Members" section in Salamy's web site. Why I'm a "rest"?!?!

You are in "rest" as your name starts with "|" (not a letter)... There should be more members whose names start with non-letters (like 41Parrots) so you won't feel alone. Consider it a privledge to be in your own section.
