I'm tired of my old Creamware Pulsar II PCI card, would like to buy some new more flexible card, thought of USB audio interface, but not sure of its pros and cons

Maybe you can recommend me something good and tell the + and - of it and the USB audio interface in general?

Maybe it's better to look at RME cards?

Thanks

I don't yet have any special requirements, but i used to record my band myself, so i need to record vocals, guitars, bass. I'm not limited on budget

I might be willing to let my RME/Nuendo 9652 go...

I have a Pro Tools setup now and my Nuendo setup is pretty much decomissioned.

3 ADAT Inputs, 3 ADAT Outputs, Word Clock BNC, SPDIF.

24 Channels of Recording.

Light use with all original box, Install Disc and papers etc.

You can always hit me up if you make a decision.

$350 shipped in USA, Pay Pal.

USB has several troubles compared to Firewire:

1) The available bandwidth is shared by all devices (read: more connected devices = less channels at lower quality).
2) USB hits the CPU much harder in resources (read: less tracks and effects available before audio glitches).
3) Using many USB devices can create a data collision (read: ruined take).
