What bands shouldn't people listen to?

any of this poofter shit ie nu-metal emo softcore homo shit ,power Metal is excluded as its the perfect remedy when the more extreme forms of expression are getting a bit boring,thats the great thing about Metal,those in the know never run out of options :)
 
I hate it when people label something as shit simply because they do not like it.

I also profoundly detest how people will say one band is better than the other based on their record sales. Stupid argument.

Someone tried to do that in a recent Hammett vs Friedman youtube clip. Fucking Twat.

Bands that change what they do best for the sake of fame and record sales piss me off too. That's why I admire Steve Harris so much. At a time when he had fucking nothing he was approached by people who wanted maiden to become a punk band in order to get signed and go on tour etc. He told them to fuck right off. Maiden was his to do what he wanted with whether he made it or not.

More people should follow this example, It would certainly get rid of some of the bullshit commercialisation around now if more people had the balls to do what 'arry did! :kickass:

I agree, but even though a personal opinion can never proove that a one band is better than the other, I have reason to believe that I can say whatever I want about bands that some people might like.

i.e. Somebody comes up to me and tells me that "My Chemical Romance" is the best band on earth.........I would have to say, "whatever you think man but thats just pure shit thats getting in your ear." :puke:

Yeah.. It's obviously a joke anyway. I mean, i think Marty is a better lead than Dave.. and I think Dave is a fuck load better than Kirk. (I just thought I would fit that in somewhere hehe)

I say don't listen to Korn, Slipknot, Papa Roach, Bullet for my valentine, Disturbed etc

don't listen to screamo at all

don't listen to deathcore at all

and I think that just about covers it.
 
damnable lies! while skolnick can do some stuff that marty can't marty's unorthodox methods and bizzare movements make him superior.
