What Bands Would You Like To See On Nightmare Records?

don't know why I didn't think of this one before:

OVERLORDE

I realize they are currently signed to Sonic Age Records, but I wish they could have had the opportunity to sign with Nightmare instead. I think they would have been represented a bit better by a stateside label.

Vanishing Point

I know their last album was through Dockyard 1, but I'm not sure which teritories that was for. They have a new album coming out later this year which I'm very much looking forward to.
The last time I know that they were abroad was quite a few years back, supporting Sonata Arctica on one of their older albums. Sonata also covered a VP song for their "Don't say a word" single.

Most of these don’t have anything listed for a label.

The Accident Experiment - http://www.myspace.com/theaccidentexperiment
(I really like these guys and Pete Stewart (vocalist) has his own CD that I listen to quite often)
Beggars Ball - http://www.myspace.com/beggarsball
Soul Source – http://www.myspace.com/soulsource
Back From Ashes - http://www.myspace.com/backfromashesmusic
Skywynd - http://www.myspace.com/skywynd
(Minneapolis band)
SAGE4 - http://www.myspace.com/sage4
Adagio - http://www.myspace.com/adagioofficial
Tourniquet - http://www.myspace.com/tourniquetrocks
Liquid Tension - http://www.myspace.com/liquidtension2006
Wicked Waltz - http://www.myspace.com/wickedwaltz
(I really like these guys too)
Silent Memorial - http://www.myspace.com/silentmemorial
(I see these guys around on myspace all the time. They’re quite good!)
The Deadlight Effect - http://www.myspace.com/thedeadlighteffect

Other favorites of mine… not sure if you would like to check them out or not. They are listed as Rock/Progressive/Alternative…
Faktion - http://www.myspace.com/faktiondallas
Depswa - http://www.myspace.com/depswa
The American Tragedy - http://www.myspace.com/theamericantragedy

This one was interesting… trip hop. I was skeptical; but when I listened it actually wasn’t bad.
Xnorophis - http://www.myspace.com/xnorophis

OK so I did a bit of digging and found out that VP are signed with DY1 for another few albums. I don't know how DY1 operate, so couldn't say if they don't cover a certain territory.
Still a very worthy band to check out for anyone who likes melodic, prog/ power.

I think Symetrica would be awesome on the label! They are all very young (14-21 years old) and have great potential! They should be having some new songs coming out very soon as well :L

Another band is Cresent. I'v not heard alot of their music myself. But from what I have they have some skill and are good guys. Plus many people tell me what a great band they are. Here's a link to their myspace.

wow... I just stumbled over Cresent a couple of days ago myself while looking for promotional contacts in the Carolinas. After thoroughly absorbing their music over the weekend, I finally decided to stop being greedy and share Cresent with Lance and the rest of you... but Mustang beat me to it! :p LOL

anyway, Lance, buddy, pal, you gotta listen to these guys if you haven't yet! I would be willing to go so far as to call them the next Iced Earth. They're just damn good power-thrash metal in the same vein as anything Shaffer has done. Stop reading and go listen!

Wow - this is a great thread for unmined talent!

Jeremy - thanks for the props for SL - appreciate that. :)

Some of the other bands are most excellent. Epica was great last year at ProgPower - thats a bummer about the label situation for them - they really worked the crowd.

Prymary - the tunes I've heard are killer.

I'm checking out some of these other bands mentioned. Thanks for the tips! :)
