What do you guys think of Threshold?

A band I really like. I've been trying to get their guitar tone with Revalver, and I think I'm getting close, because their sound is very "digital" sounding if you know what I mean... although they surely have some outboard gear to process it after recording, because it has a real sheen to it...

Hm... I think it need some more saturation and equing !! but PLEASE, don't take these words to serious . I'm SO NEWBIE to this studio stuff that I sadly don't have much to offer right now. But (hopefuly)... ONE DAY I'LL BE TEACHING NEW NEWBIES guh. Soon I hope...

you mean Damian or Mac ? I know Damian singed at Arjen Lucassen's Star One (MASTERPIECE) and Ayreon too and did a very good job.

Threshold has become one of my favorite bands very quickly. The last 2 albums have been fucking great and the good songs don't end at the first half of the recording. I think the drummer has a really simple style (for example in the song 'this is your life' verse), but I really like it. The main point is in the songs.

They're not actually that bad, and I generally don't like stuff like this.
