Hey, I thought this could kind of be a way to share our instruments with each other. I'll get the ball rolling. Post what you play, what your rig is, any recordings of you, pics of your stuff, influences, anything!

I play bass, and I have a Cort Artisan A6. I'll post pics soon.

not very big or complex:
an ibanez rg 7321 (soon to get a pickup upgrade) and an esp b 204fm

line 6 pod xt (with metal pack) and bass pod xt

just for practicing solo and basic pc recording (using cooledit pro 2.0). i don't have too much recorded that is worth posting, but in a few months, i will.

I don't know ANYTHING about amps or any equipment, but I probably should.

I enjoy playing bass more, but the band I'm in right now (Zombie Holocaust) features me on guitar. I usually jam along to Symphony X stuff on bass - I know about 50% of their material by heart.

Well, I don't have much room in my apartment to set up the full rig for a nice pic, so here are some individual pics. Sorry for the links, but I can't seem to find how to put the images in the post itself.

I use the keyboard for improvising over most of the time, with the hyper-cheesy backing tracks! Yeah, I like to tap on my bass quite a bit, if that's of any interest to you. I will be recording soon.

Pastorius, that Cort looks nice, I've always wanted a bass with tigermaple top wood.

Do you play fretless and Jaco style ? I used to go see him when he performed with Joni. He was amazing.

Do you play fretless and Jaco style ? I used to go see him when he performed with Joni. He was amazing.

Although I have been thinking about defretting my Tanglewood, I don't play fretless.

I do try to play Jaco songs though.

I play guitar(a couple of Jacksons, through a Johnson Millenium combo), drums(9-piece Pearl kit, Zildjian cymbals), sing, and dabble with keyboards. I used to play bass many moons ago, but I no longer have a bass to practice on.

I have 2 Ibanez's , Both RG's. 7 string 7620 , and forget what the 6 string is.. too lazy to look up. I use a Line 6 Spider 2 HD , with the Spider 4X12 Cab, and FBV shortboard foot controller.

My main instrument is the drumset. I have a 6pc. Ayotte DrumSmith kit in Cherry Gloss with a bunch of Paiste cymbals mounted on a Gibraltar rack, with Axis pedals. I also play a little guitar. I have a Zion Radicaster electric, and a Hoffner Anno classical.
