It was rereleased in 2000, so it's not too hard to get hold of- I ordered it via my crappy local store, and got it within 2 weeks (which was really fast!).Originally posted by my dying groom
I couldn't find Streams From The Heavens yet
Think of the slowest doom song you know, then make it twice as slow and you have funeral doom You do really need to be in the mood for it, and the songs will take a while to get your head around, but it's cool stuff. Thergothon more-or-less invented it back in I think '92 with Stream From The Heavens, but they then proceeded to break up Shape of Despair are worth checking out too (although I don't like the vocals, but hey)Originally posted by Of My Darkest Hour

I must be the only person who doesn't really think "Angels of Distress" is all that special. My initial feeling (after hearing lots of good things about it) was that of disappointment. Too much synths, too "romantic" sounding... And the songs seemingly go nowhere. The first one, for example, stops right when it's about to develop into something epic. I must not be "getting it" yet. I'm going to give it yet another try right about now however...
