all the mining thats happened over the years will cause parts of the earth to collapse inwards. this will affect the axis on which it spins and we will stop orbiting the sun, we will spin off into space as the earth gradually gets colder and we lose gravity.

I would love to see a disaster movie (i.e Armageddon,Day after Tommorow,The core etc etc) where the earth gets destroyed. They always save the earth. Maybe Lord_of_this_world has an idea for a movie, and it would be great if everybody dies and they can do nothing about it.

These options mostly suck. Though humans are only ones to be arsed with this question it's stupid to talk about world as it will only exist when there are human beings around.

edit: I mean that it'd be pretty impossible that all life would suddenly vanish no matter what conditions.
