More black metal without all the typical black metal imagery. I know a lot of post-black acts do this already, but they also incorporate a lot of other sounds, ultimately making the music sound very non-black metal.
More mid-paced doom and less super slow plodding doom metal.
Something to bridge the gap between slam and brutal death. Faster paced than slam, but less frenetic than brutal death metal.
