Which is amazing seeing as it's a pretty damn good solo.

Well I would argue with you and say it's nothing but a bunch of diatonic scale runs and apreggios but it sound sound better than most solos I've ever heard so, good one Alexi.

I think the tone of his guitar, the music and the way he plays make it sound even better. It really does suprise me how he can get away with playing simple scales but make them sound amazing.

I'll stop talking now before I overload this post with fanboyism.

don't worry, you're the only person than can have extreme fanboyism and get away with it.

Indeed. Further proof that he is an amazing guitarist. Even the solos from AYDY sound pretty well-written, despite having an odd sound.

I'm more impressive with the riffs and melodies actually. I like to see another bands write music like this in Drop C without sounding hardcore. I know AYDY sounds a bit like that during the verse but songs like Living Dead Beat, TLS and We're Not Gonna Fall are incredible, and they're in Drop C. They still have the Bodom-style leads over them.

The only other band I can think of in Drop C that write technical music is Arsis.

Damn right.

The solo for Bodom After Midnight sounded like it came from a Zelda game. It felt like someone was going to battle someone.

If that post stopped at "game" it wouldn't have been as wierd as it is.
