Whats everybody's favourite all natural drum sounds!?

even though most heavy music today is sample replaced, triggered, etc and some times its basically impossible to tell if they are real or not. whats everybody's favourite natural drums or natural sounding? (not the OBVIOUSLY replaced sound).

ill start first

remember this is about the drum sound not if you like the music they are in.

1. Unearth - III: In the Eyes of Fire
2. Norma Jean - Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child, and O God, the Aftermath
3. Stick To Your Guns - The Hope Division (most likely samples, but they sound really natural to me)

:D

For some reason this was the first thing that came into mind...

hahahahhaahha i remember that.

Soundgarden - Superunknown. Love the fact that the drums are different from song to song and mixed to compliment the vibe of the tracks.

+1

Soundgarden are awesome, and this album is the best one for the drum sounds because every single song is different and has a different sound, while most bands just have their drum sound on everything haha

This record is really cool, very dinamic . The drummer hit the shit out of that piccolo snare.

The entire album sounds so good but also so real, like the passion in Chuck's performances, both on the guitar and on the mic.

Damn that's a good record.

Ok this is the last . Great album , totally underrated, kickass drumming by Igor and excelent use of percussion on all the tracks.

A couple months ago I bought Wino's "Punctuated Equilibrium", it was actually an impulse purchase because I saw it on the sale rack. The drums sound natural but big at the same time. Cool album.

John Bonham?

I'm pretty sure Derek roddys drums in hate eternal were natural weren't they? I remember digging that sound. Spawn
of posession comes to mind for crazy drumming that's obviously not replaced or edited even.

The Offspring - Splinter (check out the fill before the second verse of Long Way Home)

Iron Maiden - Brave New World (love the kick and snare on this album, not too enamoured with the toms though)
