What's goin' on with Digital Metal?

Ever notice how they utilize the services of, like, thirty reviewers? I know the regulars such as Erik Thomas, Apollyon, and the like but sometimes it seems as if a few contributors post only once. What's up with that?

I've been a regular on their board for a few years now and it seems to me that sometimes board users submit reviews so they can become writers but give up or whatever. Erik Thomas is peobably the best metal reviewer I've come across, he also writes for MetalReview.com.

I was just saying that I see new people review stuff for Digital Metal all the time, and they disappear after a review or two; I wasn't sure as to why that happens. But, yeah, Erik Thomas is great, and I read his stuff on both DM and MR. Sorry about being cryptic.
