What's going on pre-Powerfest?

I'm just curious if it's worth coming a day (or even two) early. Is anyone else from out-of-town coming in early? Is anything good (not necessarily metal-related) going on Wed or Thurs? Or, are any locals going to be hanging out?

Looks like we'll be hanging out at the Colliseum on Thursday night, which is a couple doors down in the same strip mall as the Pearl Room. Benedictum & Thurisaz will be flying in on that day, so I'm guessing they'll be hanging out with us as well...plus, Chris & I plan on DJing that night.


And you never know what else will happen.

Cubs have a home game on Friday the 20th at 1:20PM, against the Cards.
Good luck getting tickets though, as I would guess they are sold out.
